About the role
As an AI Engineer at Walma, you build solutions that go from idea to production, for real customers with real problems. You work with LLM integrations, AI agents, document processing, semantic search, and more.
Here you're not just a cog. You help shape how we build, from architecture to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI solutions using LLMs, agent frameworks, and vector databases
- Develop integrations with customers' existing systems and data sources
- Build and optimize pipelines for document processing, classification, and extraction
- Contribute to our internal products (Noda, Ocle)
- Work directly with customers to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing
We're looking for someone who has
- At least 2 years of software development experience (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Anthropic, etc.)
- Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
- Experience building and deploying services in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership from requirements to delivery
- Fluent Swedish and English
Nice to have
- Experience with agent frameworks (CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph)
- Knowledge of OCR, document parsing, and data extraction
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD
- Open source contributions
