Slack MCP server

Slack runs its own hosted MCP server that agents reach through OAuth with a user token. The client must be a registered Slack app, either published in the directory or internal.

What an agent can do

→ Search messages, files and channels
→ Read threads and user profiles
→ Send and schedule messages
→ Manage canvases and lists
→ Upload files and add reactions

An admin must approve the MCP client, and only directory-published or internal apps may connect.
