Adyen MCP server

Adyen publishes its own MCP server, in alpha, that runs locally and turns natural-language instructions into calls to the Checkout API and Management API. It works against both test and live environments using an API key from the Adyen Customer Area.

What an agent can do

  • → Create payment sessions and payment links
  • → Refund or cancel payments
  • → Read account settings and payment methods
  • → Manage terminals and webhooks

The server is in alpha and can write by default, so the API key's roles should be narrowed before it touches the live environment.
