Stripe MCP server

Stripe runs its own hosted MCP server that gives AI agents read and write access to the Stripe API plus search across Stripe's documentation. Access is scoped per environment through OAuth or agent keys, and admins can turn MCP on or off for the whole team.

What an agent can do

  • → Read customers, payments and invoices
  • → Create payment links, invoices and subscriptions
  • → Handle refunds and disputes
  • → Analyse revenue and subscriptions
  • → Search Stripe documentation

From 31 October 2026 only OAuth or keys tagged Agent are accepted, and sensitive writes such as refunds require human approval.
