Google Analytics (GA4) MCP server

Google publishes its own MCP server for Google Analytics, labelled experimental, that lets AI agents run GA4 reports through the Data API and Admin API. It runs locally and has read access only.

What an agent can do

  • → List accounts and properties
  • → Run standard and funnel reports
  • → Read realtime data
  • → Read custom dimensions and metrics
  • → Show Google Ads links

The server is experimental and cannot change GA4 configuration, so property and event changes still happen in GA4.
