Salesforce MCP server

Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers have been generally available since April 2026 for every Enterprise Edition org and above. An admin enables prebuilt servers in Setup, or builds custom ones from flows, Apex actions and Named Queries.

What an agent can do

  • → Query and read records with SOQL
  • → Create and update records (write server)
  • → Run flows and Apex actions
  • → Query Data 360 and Tableau Next

Requires Enterprise Edition or higher and an admin to enable the server; field- and object-level permissions apply as usual.
