Supabase MCP server

Supabase's own MCP server lets an agent work with the database, Edge Functions and project settings of a Supabase project. Access can be limited to one project, to read-only and to selected tool groups through URL parameters.

What an agent can do

  • → Run SQL and read table schemas
  • → Create and apply migrations
  • → Deploy Edge Functions
  • → Generate TypeScript types
  • → Search the Supabase documentation

The server acts with the developer's permissions, so Supabase recommends read-only mode, a single project and manual approval of tool calls.
